So sorry for the lack of posts this week. I’ve been experimenting with pressing mineral eyeshadows and makeup, I’m really hoping it turns out so I can do a post on it. Anyway, here’s just a quick look using the Cargo Plantlove Green Glamour Kit.
The photos were taken in front of a window, which I think has washed the colours out a little.
- I applied Swan all over my lid and up to my brow bone.
- I used Sparrow on my outer corner and blended it out over my eyelid. You could go back over the outer corners and deepen the colour, but I wanted it fairly natural.
- I used Pelican as my highlight. It’s a light taupe-ish colour with a pearl finish, while Swan and Sparrow are matte. It would be nice if the palette had a lighter colour for highlighting.
- I also used Sparrow to smudge under my bottom lash line. I never line my eyes, but you could always do that.
- On my cheeks I used Tarte’s cheek stain in Flush.
-For the lips I used Vapour’s Multi-use stick in Spark (also a really nice blush colour).
If there is any type of makeup look you would like to see, or perhaps a particular product you’d like to see used then let me know. It’s been fun playing around with makeup.
I’ll be out of town for the weekend, but I’ll try get some posts up ![]()

wonderful makeup!! i wear similar shades on a daily basis. is that a physician’s formula mascara?
Thanks
at the moment I’m using an Origins mascara but once I’ve used that I want to try the regular PF mascara. I’ve already used their jumbo one and really liked it.
thanks for reply!
I think I might be getting that Cargo PlantLove palette in a swap on MakeupAlley and I am stoked! I still love using the Urban Decay Primer Potion underneath my eyeshadows… totally not natural
Beautiful look! xx
I hope you like it. I find it so much easier having it in a pressed form and in a palette.
I’m still looking for more natural primers as well.
Let me know how you like the palette when you get it
