I’ve been loving Acure Organics; they are natural, fair trade and certified organic. They have a great range of products for affordable prices, plus I love their packaging.
I will review everything once I’ve tried it out.
I’ve not heard of this brand so now I am going to see if I can get hold of it in the UK
iherb.com sell it as well if it’s not in stores.
Thank goodness for online shopping!
Love the haul. I use and love their scrub and olive+mint facial cleanser. I have also used their argan oil, which I really like, but not any of their creams or serums. Is the undereye cream more like a cream or a balm in texture?
Thanks It is definitely more of a balm, so it is more on the oily side. It feels a little grainy in the jar as well, I think just due to how the oils set or something, so you do have to work it in more to melt the grainy bits. But so far it’s working well.
Great tutorial. I was wondering if you could make a makeup routine tutorial. Your face looks flawless
Thank you The lighting is to thank for how my skin looks. I did just do a basic video using the everyday minerals foundation. Maybe I could do my ‘special occasion’ makeup, even though it’s not too drastic?
i would love that ! and i love the iherb hauls too.. keep `em going, they inspire me what to buy, especially with iherb being one of the few US online shops that ships to my country.
I love iHerb! I’m actually on there now. I really need to stop spending, it’s too addictive. I’ll do the tutorial once I get my iHerb order, I’ve order something I want to use in the tutorial
Some favourites of mine from iHerb are: Desert Essence coconut shampoo/conditioner (BEST EVER! I haven’t tried Acure’s yet), Blum Naturals makeup wipes, Aztec Indian healing clay & apple cider vinegar and then anything from Badger Balm, Dr Bronner’s and Acure
As I saw the title I was hopping that you would talk about their lip balm, which I’m dying to try!! The hair products have really good size/price. Everything looks amazing, lovely packaging, even better products I hope. What is your favourite brand, till now?
Haha I’m sorry, I have plenty of lip balms as it is It looks like it would be really nice!
My favourite overall brand, or for specific things, like hair, skin, etc?
My favourite shampoo and conditioner of all time are Desert Essence shampoo/conditioner (I haven’t tried the acure yet). They are amazing to say the least.
For skin care/body, I like random things.
I heard Desert Essence somewhere I can’t remember, I just looked at the ingredients and seems good, at least the base ingredients. Although ‘fragrance’ may irritate my scalp, as there is long time I don’t use shampoos with that ingredient.
I really like switch between products, but sometimes I’m afraid because my skin/scalp is very sensitive, so I tend to use Essential Care most of the time.
There’s such good brands out there, it’s quite difficult resist them.
I’m thinking about try ikove, a brazilian brand, that recently appeared here in Portugal, looks great and not too expensive.
I look forward to hear your reviews about acure.
Oh, that’s a shame your scalp is sensitive. I’m pretty lucky that I don’t have to worry about reactions.
I will start testing them out to review
What kind of lipstick are you wearing? I love the color!
Thanks It’s the Christopher Drummond lip stain ‘Arouse’.
Christopher Drummond?? Never heard before. Is it green?
Sure is. Kind of like a higher end natural brand.
How do you buy their products (CDrummond)?
I’m also addicted to Iherb, and live overseas like you You really remind me of myself! Ive been trying to switch to organic/natural products for a while now and have also been trying out acure over the last month or so. I’m really liking their shampoos and skin creams in particular. What do you use for makeup normally? I find it really hard to find good foundations and normally rotate between my tarte and alima ones.
I placed another order last night, how bad is that! I find what we have here is really limited and expensive, so I can never resist iHerb. Where are you from?
How is the switch going for you? I love finding people who are switching, no one I know is interested in it
I have not found a natural liquid foundation that I even remotely like. So for work and everyday I wear mineral foundation, so either Everyday Minerals or Alima Pure (which I’m now out of). For more special occasions I am still using a commercial foundation.
What foundations have you tried so far?
hey! I’m in Singapore, not too far from you I guess Very few people I know are switching, but i’ve been pretty into it for the past year – I even use greener laundry, cleaning supplies etc (usually 7th generation from iHerb). I placed an order 2 weeks ago and want to do another one – organic or natural stuff is so expensive here. For foundation Tarte’s Amazonian clay is ok, but if I had a choice I still prefer my Nars sheer glow which I also use for special occasions only. I’m out of both everyday minerals and alima, might need to re-order. I’ve heard the Physicians formula organic foundation, Korres and the 100% pure foundation are both good – might try them out next!
I started about a year ago too It’s nice blogging because I get to talk to people interested in the same thing I love the 7th gen dish washing liquid. Sadly I don’t think natural liquid foundations are up to the standard of regular foundations yet. I ordered some mineral foundation from Lily lolo, I’ve heard really good things about them. I think I will stick with mineral foundation for the moment. I’m sick of spending money on liquid foundations I don’t like
Yeah same here! I’m liking some of Josie Maran’s products, like the argan oil, the hair treatment and the lip treatment. The foundation wasnt too bad but it was’ too sheer, and apparently it has phenoxyethanol in it too which can simulate parabens. I also like John Masters organics for haircare. I’ve heard good things about lily lolo too – let me me know if you end up liking it!
I think I will do a video on Lily Lolo when I get it and do a demo.
Hopefully that’s a bit more helpful and people can see how it works
I’ve used a couple of things from John Masters, so far so good
